Cornet II and Bendix 6106 resistor swap?
« on: 2 Apr 2014, 07:19 am »
I love how my Cornet II sounds with the stock Sovitek rectifier, but to my ears I like Bendix 6106 better overall.  The Sovitek seems more balanced and seems to have a bit more weight in the lower frequencies, but compared to the Bendix it sounds bit less detailed and spacious.  I thought I remembered here somewhere that folks who are using the Bendix 6106 needed to swap 2 of the 10k resistors out for 9k/11k to get the proper voltage. Can someone tell me the exact location those 10k resistors the 10k?  According to the manual I see R105, R204, R211.  Any help would be much appreciated.
