This was my brother’s, and it was always well cared for, but the dust cover has some light scratches, I’d rate it a 6 or 7 out of 10
Purchased in ‘78. Last used probably in the late eighties.
Stanton cartridge L727E is on it now.
Also included is the ADC PSX-40 it replaced.

The Yamaha YP-D6 is a beautiful device!
Built in 1977, it has a very clean look which gives it a fragile appearance, but it is a heavy device, the build quality is very good, typical of Yamaha.
S-shaped arm, Auto-Return at the end of the record.
Performance specs are good: signal to noise ratio 70dB, while wow/flutter is around 0.035%.
It runs well, stable, the controls are simple, located on the right with the strobe light on the opposite side.
It is a very good performing device, nice clean sound!
They are hard to find and their value is going up…
