Rounding over X-SLS
« on: 23 Jun 2021, 08:26 pm »
Hey hope everyone is well! Just finishing off my X-SLS build, about to put a roundover on the cabinets, I was planning on only doing the front two sides much like you have to do if you are using veneer. But was just wondering if there would be any audible benefit to also rouding the top edge and if this would be recommended instead.

Many thanks,
Ethan

Hello, hello! New guy here building a SLS kit and I’m close to this point, too, so I’m keenly interested in the answers.

Audibly? Not really, but I really like the look, even if my X-LS have it.
It may help a little bit with vertical refraction issues, but most are listening on-axis, so it's not really as necessary as fhe sides

I did do it with my NX Studios tho.

As it goes hobbs your x ls are the reason I thought about leaving the top edge I do like the look with just the sides in duratex.
