I guess I have to do this so I can post, so here goes. I've been around good sounding stereo since I was born because my dad always had nice gear. All throughout my childhood I was fascinated with my dad's stereo; Marantz 3800 pre, 150 tuner, 510M amp, Model 500 amp, SLT-U turntable and the speakers he built using Altec 511b horns, 802D drivers and 515B woofers. He also had Sony TC-651 and TC-666 R2R decks.
49 years later I still love great sound. My current equipment is Dunlavy SC-V speakers and Wyred 4 Sound components (STP-SE pre, DAC-2v2, ST-1000 mkII), along with a Denon DVD-3910 player, Parasound T3 tuner, and Otari MX-5050 BII R2R.
