Not much room for tube dampers, at least on the two smaller (input?) tubes.

No need for those - trust me.

Cool Pics Lee.

The sound is a bit bigger then its appearance tho.

I like the size.  Think you can talk them into making a headphone amp?

For all those who inquire about headphone amp option from MiniWatt, here is a great news:

MiniWatt is working on the prototype of headphone impedance adaptor which will work with MiniWatt integrated amplifier S1. Another words, you won't need a separate headphone amp but use this adapter to convert S1 into dedicated head-amp. The production units will be ready in about two months time and I will have the prototype pictures of it when available. There is still no word on the pricing but it should be quite affordable and space saving for present & future S1 owners.

As a side note - I want to apologies for any inconvenience and IMO unnecessary commotion that this thread and my own actions may have cause. My only intention was to share my experiences and this inexpensive product with others.

With that, I want to wish everyone Happy 4th of July.
Cheers
Mariusz

Tell them that I will take one as soon as they are available, just have an open order for me.

Not a question of need, but benefit.  Tubes prone to microphonics will sound much better - if damped.

Not yet, sorry, haven't listened yet.  I'll try and hook it up today.

As far as initial impressions:

I think it is "cute" and externally seems to exhibit a fairly good standard of build quality, very consistent with its price and other Asian gear at its price range and a bit higher.  I have no reservations about the build quality at this price, or even double.  I haven't looked inside yet, and may not.

I can visualize it being a part of a pretty sweet desktop system, and/or a system with some high sensitivity speakers.

Maiusz was a pleasure to deal with and had great communication throughout the ordering process.

Peace,

Lee

Thank You Lee and all who signed up for the MiniWatt tour.
I am also quite sadden by latest events and aftermath of (IMO) my defensive instinct which cost such a turbulence. :( Ones again - my sincere  apologies (R).
I really feel like taking a break but I also want to finish what I've started and fulfill the expectation of fellow members regarding the tour.
It has been quite a rush and feeling of uncertainty but it looks like the tour will start on Wednesday  July 8th.  Tour units came in this morning. I will test them tonight and tomorrow to make sure everything is in order. Units came in a bulk packaging so I will have to repack them myself which isn't a big deal. I have the cables ready for the PA tour and speaker cables for few of you who are locking banana speaker termination. I have black and silver units - not that it matters. However, black ones look really cool  ( first time I've seen them) if you want to be picky.
I will post the pics and details tomorrow. List has changed a bit but it is more or less the same.

Over and out

These 6J1's in the miniwatt are EF95's, correct?  Has anyone tried rolling them in the mini?  Swapping versions of this tube in my littledot pre made a significant difference.

6J1P is equivalent to EF95, 6F32, 6AK7. But I could be wrong. Russians make some good spects military grade 6J1Ps.

I would be most interested in possibilities as far as tube rolling is concern.
Surely I am not alone.
