Hi John, good to hear about the SMSG speaker cables, they are the D4's companion speaker cables... I agree the SL UPOCC copper litz cables would be the D2's companions and are probably similar to your KS cables. Good copper cables have a natural smoothness about them...  sometimes silver can be a little thin sounding in comparison, even UPOCC silver, but the silver/gold alloy I use takes care of this and results in the most natural, realistic tone I have experienced while keeping all the resolution and dynamics of pure UPOCC silver.

Thanks for the reply Dave. I'm tempted to try the D2 ultra but I think I'll wait for the kismet amps to finish settling in before I make any final judgements.

Cool, send me your cell #... it turns out my cables and SurgeX will be used with dc10 audio / Natural Sound USA in room 586 and in one of the large ball rooms at the Hilton next door. Room 586 will feature the Berlin R speakers, the Hilton is featuring the debut of the dc10 Gottenburg Odin speakers (!!!) and Audio Techne's new monoblock amplifiers.

Been looking at the exhibitor list today and noticed ZenWave wasn't listed but figured you'd be floating around. Dc10 is a speaker I'd love to hear and it'll be fun to see how neutral the sound is compared to mine knowing everything will be cabled by ZenWave much like my room.
