Listening some emotionally moving music by Anne Bison, system sounded nice and looked pretty too. Here’s a picture.

Hi Deuter,

Oh my that system looks really high end.  What is the brand of speaker?  Wilsons?

This is an old photograph taken before I moved house.  I'm using a bryston bd1 for streaming etc and a Redwine Audio isabella preamplifier.  The SST Ampzillas are very good.

Nice, love the Red, I do have a Focal Home Theatre System in all red and it looks fantastic.

The speakers are Wilson Sasha’s

I have heard really good things of the Res Wine Audio Preamps, never really heard one. Have you had it for a while?

Hi dexter
Love those blue speakers.
Must admit that I am partial to blue.
That turntable on the left looks pretty impressive.
What particular turntable is it?
Don't recognise it from a distance.
The room looks very spacious.
Very nice set up.
Looks like you have many hours of enjoyable listening there!
Look after yourself.

Hi Guys,

Wow Wilson Sasha's :).  I could never afford speakers like that but I'm happy with the Salk Sound HT3's which use Aurum Cantus ribbon tweeters, seas excel midrange and a 10 inch custom bass driver.  I was lucky to buy these and ship from the USA to Perth when the aussie dollar was about 90 cents to the US dollar.

I dropped off a pair of Salk Sound Song 3's to a friend to play with.  His speakers in the photograph were built by Pat from War Audio which use raven 1 ribbon tweeter and focal mid/bass drivers in an mtm configuration.  I bought the Song 3's secondhand for 2.8k in mint condition from a guy in Perth.  I figure they would cost about 6.5k to import into australia.

I think they were just shy of 8k including shipping and import duties.  I haven't tried the Ambrosia preamplifier at this stage due to room size limitations.

Cheers Rod

Thanks Bruce.

The turntable is probably a hidden gem that is not very well known.

It’s an Opera Consonance Droplet LP 5 MK2.

Less words more pictures please :)
