Walt Wilkins (plus his lovely wife Tina) at the Dosey Doe in the Woodlands TX

Walt is a singer-songwriter, Texas-America

Fantastic show and great venue.  Very nice acoustics and only holds 100-150 folks.

The Artistocrats, Guthrie Govan , Bryan Beller, and Marco Minnemann. Newport KY. 8-9-2013. Great show.

Marco is an excellent drummer. He is in Steve Wilson's band and he just tears it up!

Went to see Pat Benatar and Nick Giraldo last night. It was a great show. I never was a fan. I only own one album by them and that's her Blues album, True Love, but that five foot, one hundred pound dripping wet woman, who's sixty now, has one hell of a powerful voice. I have dubbed her the Ethel Merman of Rock and Roll. Sorry, no pics out of respect for the artists' wishes. Go see them if you get a chance and bring hearing protection. Yea, I'm an audiophool and brought my SPL meter.

The Zombies on Aug 30 at Spokane's annual Labor Day Festival--Pig Out in the Park. The concert was free. Pic is the best I could do with the iPhone given the lighting. They were terrific. Colin's voice has held up well and Argent was rockin on the keyboards.

We saw Keiko Matsui at Yoshi's in Oakland about 2 weeks ago.  Somehow we got a table next to the stage.  Last Saturday we went to the 2013 Regeneration Tour at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga.  The artists were Men Without Hats, Information Society, Howard Jones and Andy Bell.  That was an incredible 4 hour concert at an excellent venue.  Next up is the Monterey Jazz Festival in about two weeks.  Featured artists include George Benson, Bobby McFerrin, David Sanborn with Bob James and Diana Krall to name a few.  It should be a great weekend.  :D

Saw Richard Thompson and his son.  They both were guitar-only (no backups or other artists whatsoever).  I thought Richard was great and his son was very good, too.  Richard's new album I think is very good.  He even sang some old songs.  They both have a great sense of humor.  The both speak with a British accent, but the son sings with no British accent.  I'm going to pick up the new album by the son.

I highly recommend seeing them if you can.  They're playing some some venues (or at least the one in which I saw them was small).

Wife and I saw JJ Grey last night. After the concert, I shook his hand and thanked him, and he signed my wife's ticket stub.
Great guy, very down to earth. Her and I are HUGE fans. Love this dude.

Saw The Eagles a couple weeks ago at the Sprint Center in KC.  Amazing show!  First time seeing them.  Had no clue Bernie Leadon was playing with them until we got there.

Nice seats Paul. I saw them in DC and Seattle. My Seattle seats were in the 12th row; DC about 1/2 way back. I agree, excellent show.
