Rolf Hegelgans sent me a gorgeous piece of redwood burl and asked me to fashion it into a pair of book-matched front baffles for a pair of MBOW1's.

The baffles were so spectacular, we decided that a hand-rubbed, high-gloss finish was the only way to go.
I found some madrone burl veneer I had purchased about two years ago, just waiting for the perfect project. It was a very good match.

I think these are the most stunning MBOW1's I have done to date.

Unfortunately, with the high-gloss finish, there is no easy way to photograph them in all their glory. So these pics are the best I can do.
Thanks, Rolf.

Yet another beautiful pair. That's a great piece of redwood and the madrone was an excellent choice.

WOW!
Can't wait to see them in person. :D :D :D
You always take pictures of your speakers in front of that tree. I'm sure that's a picture because you probally have snow on the ground right now in Michigan.

Yes, it is a photo. The photos I use are better than my cabinets behind my photo setup.
