Oh man - that rings a bell. Didn't he just have a GTG? I seem to remember PM-ing him to see if I could make it, if I recall he's out by the start of the Boston Marathon.

Hey Zybar - any chance we could get together in the near future? No hurry, I'm just in the curious/exploratory stage having just acquired another members 2Ci set. But I'm already enjoying them for soundstage and imaging vs. my Onix Reference 3s. But the Ref 3s take the top end. So.... I'm just curious what moving up the Vandy line would do for me.

I am sure we could figure something out.

Great - thanks!

I'm heading up to Wareham this Thursday, but that's just an overnight visit.

In near future I may head up to Braintree, maybe we can arrange a detour for me then.

Hey squash-boy, belay that jibber-jabber!

The whole reason I'm throwing a line out is because YOU told me to get the 2Ci.

And when do I get to visit your lair atop Mt. Pocono to hear the 3As, you've been a bit tardy on that invite.  :nono:

You know what Santa brings bad boys, and it aint a new VPI record cleaning brush.  :duh:

IMHO, I have the 5A's sounding better than anything I ever heard at Audio Connection (which was very, very good).

Here is a more recent pic of the system with the Bryston BDP-1/BDA-1 combo as my digital front end:

...and mine are sounding better than ever with the quad of Marantz MA-24s.

We're VERY lucky boys, George.   :)

That's a Marantz MA-22 driving the VCC-1.
