Okay, I have a mismatched pair of early 1960's RCA 6CG7/6FQ7's....one has black plates and a halo top getter and measures 120/110 and the other is a Clear Top with side getter and it reads 115/122. They were measured for Mutual Conductance on my Eico 667 where 80 is borderline weak/good. No shorts or leaks.
I fired them up in my preamp and they sounded really nice and were balanced channel to channel. They are nice and linear and presented a very silent and black soundfloor. If you want them pick a number between 1-30 and if all numbers are not spoken for by 6/15/13 a winner will be selected from those who put their name in the hopper.
Standard rules apply...must be a member in good standing and have at least 10 posts.
Jim
Note: I straightened the pins on the clear top....
