I've got a Vision EC DAC and one of the optical inputs has gone bad. Given the quality of Frank's gear I can't help but think it's something I've done, but I have no idea what it could be.

Any ideas of what I could have done or whether there's a simple fix? Simple being something like spraying some compressed air - which I'm out of and just ordered more of - into it .

I plugged the same cable into the other optical input and it works fine. Been listening using that one for the last few hours

Problem solved! Sprayed some compressed air in there and now it's working fine.

And the NEXT best thing (#1 of course - it's fixed) is that I don't have to send it off and be without it.

It didn't have enough breathing room. Now my whole system is a little more open and airy! (Two can play this game!)
