looking for a well built, decent audio rack.  I purchase an Adonna model and quite frankly its not very good, cheaply made not solid nor sturdy.  Any suggestions would be appreciated!  Links would be helpful  aa

I ended up building my own. Cost was in line with Cheep 'n Cheerful too

Check out Ikea.

I bought two of these nightstands (one as a side table next to "the" chair and the other as a rack for my small system).  They are substantially built from "processed wood" that doesn't look bad at all (just may not be your taste/decor).  I left the rollers off the rack and used the posts as spikes:

Which Adonna?  I have their metal frame with Michigan Maple 3" butcher block shelves and really like it.  Is yours wood?

I would be in Pete's camp, had an Adona rack and found build quality to be excellent and very sturdy...

Adona uses 80-20 (or something similar) center channel extruded aluminum for it's frnaming.  Once bolted together with cross members, it is incomprehensible to me that it would be flimsy!   

I built my rack with 80-20 and butcher block.   It is rock solid.

I don't think so.

Adona offers different models, but it looks like all framing is that modern extruded aluminum.  When that stuff is bolted together with cross members it is very rigid and sturdy.

Big Lots close-out stores recently had a steel and glass grey TV/electronics stand for $80.  60" wide, nicely understated, supports my 200lb CRT TV easily, three glass shelves, hidden wire holes, and very high WAF.

I am VERY pleased with mine.  If I had another application for it I'd buy another one,
