Glow Amp1 and USB

Hi All,
Don't know if any of you here have one of the little "Glow" amps.  It's a tube amp with analog and a USB input.
The USB DAC inside is a pretty simple, one chip deal.  It uses the standard Windows USB audio driver. (Win XP)

Today i was trying to see if it would accept anything other than the standard Windoze 48KHz playback rate.
After trying everything I could think of in Foobar and Winamp, as well as other apps it seemed hopeless. Always resampled to 48KHz no matter what the original rate.  But then I made an interesting discovery.

At 88.2KHz, it did not resample!  Playing back a file that is at 88.2KHz it stayed the same.  Using the DSP resample in Foobar set to 88200 gave the same results.  No matter what the input rate.  I can't tell yet what the bit depth is, but the 88.2 sample rate passes right thru.

There may be some other simple USB soundcards out there that do the same.  So it's worth a try.  This means a pretty easy rate conversion for all your 44.1 files.

Thought you might like to know.  :green:
