  Guess what the friendly UPS person dropped off?  Yup, my LONG anticipated XLC in glossy piano black!  It is hooked up and being broken in as we speak....Sounds good out of the box, will opine more once I break them in and do some critical listening.

Just a quick question though.  The manual says the speakers should be placed 8-10 inches away from CRT monitors.  I've placed it directly on top of my Loewe and I see no smearing or magnetic abnormalities.  Am I home free or should I seriously consider moving it?  Bear in mind that moving it is something I would rather not do at the current time!

  I started break-in in earnest this morning.  I have set my old DVD player on repeat and am playing music 24 hrs a day.  Yes, I would never do that to my Marantz SACD player or my Universal player! Friday or Saturday, I hope to do some critical listening and will post more.  It is a little more substantial than I thought it would be....this thing is SOLID!  And that, my friends, is a good thing!  More in time.......
