Title: Used SongSurround II's in rosewood - monitors or surround speakers - SOLD

This is a pair of used SongSurround II's, perfect for left and right main monitors or surround speakers in a home theater application.

Here is a picture of this pair.

The finish on the cabinets is in good condition (8 out of 10) with a few very minor scratches on the bottoms.  They are only worth re-finishing if you are in need of perfection.

These would be $1495 plus about $300 for the rosewood veneer for a total of $1795.

They are available for $895.  If re-finishing is desired, add $300 and we will do it.

Could these be used on a shelf laid down horizontal as a stereo pair?

Yes, they could.  The only caveat is that they are rear ported.  So you would have to have "breathing room" behind them for the port output (or you would have to stuff the ports and you'd lose some bass extension).

The speakers themselves have dome tweeters, so they would work fine horizontally.

makes sense. I may opt for the surround with a port in the front or the WoW monitor.
