Hey guys,
Having found a buyer for my Mac 2100, I'm now "officially" in the market for a SET amp to drive my De Capos. Budget is around $600 or so.  I've heard (and really liked) the Bottlehead Paramours (thanks, again, Rob) and I may have a line on a pair for a good price, but I'm open to other suggestions.  I'm not averse to a DIY project, but in a perfect world I'd prefer something pre-built.

Again, my room is small (around 13 x 13) and my primary source is a Benchmark DAC1 (which I'll be comparing next week to the new dAck 2.0).

Thanks for the input.

I really like my Decware Zen Selects with the Royal Masters.

They're truly great on good recordings, but on bad ones the lack of power can be a bit evident. Bass will tend to be a bit anemic if it ain't a good recording.

If the DeCapos are a true 8 ohm load, I'd take a serious look at the Decware Zen Select EX model - it has some changes to work better with an 8 ohm load than the standard Select.
