I don't remember Patricia Barber ever playing close by, but she has a Florida date in March at a community college in Palm Beach. I was surprised to find that tickets are just $20!
Just for comparison's sake, Cassandra Wilson will play a different venue in April, but the ticket price is $50. Norah Jones played the same site last year at a similar ticket price.
Maybe audiophiles are truly a niche market---like her or not, Patricia Barber's name is probably known to all of us, but the general populace is blissfully unaware??
