For me, a good test to highlight a tweeter's ability to satisfy my ears without hurting them is Eva Cassidy's "Live at Blues Alley", which seems recorded rather hot. Especially playing at high SPLs on the passages when she really belts it out, high-pitched and loud, enough so to melt/break up most all other tweeters, piercing my eardrums like a searing hot poker. Not so on my Esotar nor this lovely ART.

JLM, what makes a speaker a crossover product vs. a pro product?

Studio monitors (like these) are used for recording/mixing (not final production).  In general professionals need accuracy (a stark, dry, clinical sound that has very flat frequency response, image well, and reveal warts so they can end up being un-involving, somewhat boring, and quite fatiguing).  Audiophile/home speakers are sold to satisfy emotions (that can sound euphoric, warm, exagerated, colored, etc.).

Using a automotive analogy, the professionals need a heavy duty 4 wheel drive truck to earn a living and home users want a sports/luxury car to enjoy after work.
