Nice looking unit and interesting performances,
but for 150 USD Made in China unit,
for me, how low will it last and is it really repairable ???
But, for 150 USD, what do you have to loose ?

i bought it once. it had a loud humm from the trans and another louder humm coming from speakers. some people get lucky and get units with less/bearable humm. for 150 it is quite something if thr humm is under control but ultimately it is a toy. no serious person will be content with this

Sorry to hear of your noisy amp.  If you are intrested, I have another option to consider.  I bought one of these little amps from Massdrop, and with a small sub it's good.  It's quiet and nice, but it's low-power.  If you're looking for a secondary system, this could be it.

They run a drop on these occasionally and you can get one for about $150.  It seems to be well made and comes with US made 6AD10 tubes (compactron tubes from the early '60's).
