Hello Everyone
Can anyone tell me if the HD-AVA can play DSD from an Oppo player either by DoP or via the HDMI inputs?  I currently convert DSD to 88.2, but would love to try DSD without PCM conversion.  Thanks in advance.

Well, I found an answer to the HDMI side of things....DSD will not play through HDMI on the unit.  I suspect no DoP either via coax or spdif, but would dearly love confirmation.  Anyone??

HD-AVA is best used as a deeply discounted IDA-16, with the bare-bone AVP as a bonus.

Thanks Jason.  I am considering the HD-AVA anyway, but I wanted a unit that could receive DoP.  I bought your close out IDA-6 in the interim since it does DoP.

The USB input on HD-AVA is the only one that can decode DoP.   We are selling at a loss to clear the remaining stocks at the current price.

Thanks Jason.  My old NuForce 200w amp is still going strong, so I don't Need the HD+AVA....but I want it!  An amazing swiss army knife for audiophile's.

I have an HD-AVP, which is an HD-AVA without the amp I believe, I could part with.
Bought it in 2019 as a backup for my other surround processors but haven't
needed to use it.  Pretty much mint as far as I can tell.  Pm me if interested.

Thanks, but I would only want the HD-AVA because of the amp and ithe versatility inherent.  Just don't need it...but I want it!😁
