Well, that artsy crossover mounted on a rearward-extended speaker base, and enclosed in plexiglas, would be quite unique - whaddya think?

I think what would look nice would be to make a horizontal and vertical intersecting rack in the same style and then mount it in a clear Plexiglas sphere.
Something like this.

There you go.  Actually, a sphere, if you had to have it custom-made, would be expensive.  I was thinking of a cubic enslosure.

Yeah, you're slackin' on your picture posting duties. What's up with that?

Seriously. It's been a week. I know it's been Thanksgiving... which that means less time at work and more time at home (in the garage)... but that's too much time without new pics!!! Maybe he's been working so hard on his speakers over the long weekend that he didn't have time to post.

Talk about gorgeous.  The front baffle has the feel of a guitar.  I can see the influence.  Just beautiful.  No way I could ever make those.

Well, it's been a trying 6 weeks but I'm back at working on the speakers. The X-overs are taking longer that I thought to complete. I have one done and the other should go pretty quickly now. It was a bit of a challenge to get everything to fit.
Here is the result.

It's a tight fit!  This is looking through the back port.

You are a sick puppy! Outstanding craftmanship, all to be hidden away. But, there is the irreplaceable pride of accomplishment-well done!

Now that is a speaker worth its weight. A true craftsman in every respect. Bravo. Love to hear them.

I've finished the second crossover.  :D
It's taken me almost two months to get these done.  :o  There were a lot of other life issues that came up in that time and things have settled down now. It feels really good to be back working on this.
Here are a few more pictures of the finished crossovers, and now it's time to start back on the cabinets.
