Up for sale is a Angstrom 200 Preamp/DAC processor. This was made by the same guy who made Theta Digital famous for their outstanding products, and this one is no exception. It originally retailed for 3500.00 or so in the mid 90's.
I've used it as a two channel preamp/DAC combination, and it sounds excellent. In fact, it seems to sound more life like than a lot of more recent DAC's I've heard. Believe it's due to the custom software filter for this unit.
The unit accepts both analog and digital inputs, and is perfect not only for CD's, but DVD as well. A remote and the original
manual is included with this.
A great sounding unit that can fit a number of applications. I've changed out equipment, so I no longer need this.
