These are ALNICO (not ferrite) drivers. If you value great imaging, Omega’s 6” Alnico Monitors are a superior choice.

Custom ordered in 2008, directly from Omega. Cherry front and back panels; Wenge on two sides, plus top and bottom. Wenge is a dark brown designer finish, with a rich, linear grain. The Cherry speaks for itself. I choose this combo of woods based on a recommendation from Louis. See photos, below.

This is Omega’s original 6” Alnico monitor. Now with some modification to the cabinet, they are called “Super Alnico Monitors.” If you order new, with a real-wood finish, they run $2,295/pair.

Skyland 4-post stands available as an option. Current retail price for stands is approx $500.

Skyland 4-post stands available as an option. Stands retail for approx $500/pr. Stands have a few vacuum scuffs on bases, from the maids. Bases could be spray painted, if desired. Bases originally purchased for Omega Compact Hemps, which are slightly more narrow than Super 6s (see photos). I don't let the maids dust the Omegas, and they are nearly perfect.

Note on finish: Cherry fronts and backs; Wenge on sides, top and bottom; All real wood.
