« on: 21 May 2020, 12:42 am »
Just received the formal announcement that HAL had received the Al Stiefel Room for RMAF2020. It will now be RMAF2021 instead of this year. Thanks to both Marjorie and the Colorado Audio Society for the vote to exhibit at the show!

Hope to see everyone at RMAF2021 in room 7102 for some music listening! Dates shown are 8-10 October, 2021.

Yes, congrats.  Will you be showing your Megalith or Monolith speakers?  Do you anticipate that new magnetic planar speaker you are developing being shown?

TIA,
Jake

JakeJ,
Thanks!

The Monoliths or the Magnetars fully active open baffle speakers will be coming to RMAF2021 show at this time.   Those will fit in the AL Stiefel room.

The HAL MS-5 Music Server and Danville Signal dspNexus 2x8 system will be running the system.

Will let everyone know the final setup once everything it set.

The latest Danville Signal Blog post and info on RMAF2021.

Since the BG NEO10 drivers are no longer available, the new Magnetar speaker will be coming to the show.

Have been working with RMAF2021 team and should have a room assignment for the show this October soon.

The show is still planned and we are fully vaccinated at this point.  Plan to be be demoing music servers and fully active open baffle planar speaker systems in the Al Stiefel Rememberance Room.

Hope this can all go forward as planned and hope to see folks at the show!

It is with sad heart I announce that RMAF2021 is now cancelled and RMAF itself is now gone.

I have gone most years since 2005 to the show and always have a great time listening to audio systems, meet up with friends old and new, and spend time investigating the latest audio technologies.

This year was going to be special as the Al Stiefel Remembrance Room winner for RMAF2021 to demo the latest system.

I wish all the hard working people at the Colorado Audio Society and RMAF team the best in their future endeavors.
