Not enough Cowher players left to carry Tomlin anymore. It's similar to when Gruden ran out of Dungy players in TB.

Big Ben is washed up??!!! Are you clueless? I guess so. He is ranked 3 rd most yards in the league!!!
Duh!!
He had one bad half. Wow!!
The team may suck around him.
Averaging 343 or so a game . Only two QB’s have more yards.
3 straight games over 300, threw for 452 against KC.

The past is no measure of the presence...   And you are talking to a guy who met Johnny Unitas.   :notworthy:

You're just seeing the Steelers without Bell.  Conner is a great story and is doing his best, but without the triple threat of the Three B's the Steelers are a middle of the road team.  Brown is doubled nearly every play and there aren't a lot of other offensive options for Ben.  The defense hasn't been anything like a steel curtain for years now.  Ben has been a very good quarterback going to three Super Bowls and willing two of them, but he's very close to the end of his career and has never been able to put a mediocre team on his back and win, no one but Brady has ever done that anyway.  The vast majority of NFL teams would dump their starter in a heartbeat for Big Ben.

I was expecting to see some talk about Mahomes this morning?

First half, it looked like he was coming back to earth, but he showed up at the end of the game and pulled out a big win.
Keenum on the other hand, missed a wide open receiver just before the botched flea flicker, which cost Denver the game.

Now waiting for Nov 19th, Rams visit KC.

my comment was made relative to his performance in Sunday's game, regardless, his best days are behind him IMO, if he wins another SB then I'm proven wrong. I won't be losing any sleep over it ...........

There are a lot of good QBs in the league now. Stafford on the Detroit Lions is who I'm used to watching and I wouldn't swap the two.

What's really cool is that, barring something unusual, Drew Brees will break the NFL all time passing-yards record this Monday night in front of a National audience, at home, against the Redskins.  :thumb:

Go Saints,

Me and the Family will be at that game!  We are super pumped and super happy for Drew.  I can't think of a more deserving person.

Mark Ingram will be back from suspension too, so it'll probably be pretty loud in the Dome that night!

Awesome!!  That's gonna' be great! Have a daiquiri for me.

And yes, it will be nice to have Ingram back, fresh legs and all. We just need the D to play like any average defense in the League.

Have a great time at the game!!!

Rams squeaked out the win, much closer than I expected, but Seattle is a tough place to win.
Seattle was obviously up for the game.
Rams offense didn't look as good as some other games, but still racked up a bunch of points and got the win

In LA, they showed the Packers/Lions game and the Charger/Raider game.  Raiders look pretty bad

Oh, and in the late game, don't understand why Cowboys punted in OT?

Weird week - Cleveland over Baltimore, AZ wins a game and Buffalo over the Titans.

Gosh, that's the best Half I've ever seen on MNF. Congratulations, Drew!

If you missed Drew Brees becoming the NFL's All Time Passing Yards leader, here's the play (2:46 left in the 2nd; he needs 35 yards for the record. His wife, three young sons, and young daughter had just walked onto the sideline): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f04uhIcMQDw
GOAT.

Good thing New Orleans Saints never read the pre-game stats. "Stats are for Losers" said Ron Lancaster

You see the Saints were trailing at half-time and Baltimore in their previous 6 games never gave up a second half touchdown.

That's why we play the game. :smoke:

I don't normally read the NY Post but the article caught my attention for more than one reason:

I guess the writer isn't an audiophile.

Yes, and with the win, as quarterback Drew has now beat all 32 NFL teams, joining only Brett Favre and Payton Manning (Drew beat the Saints when he was still with San Diego). He also joined the NFL's version of Mount Rushmore, becoming the 4th quarterback ever to throw for 500 touchdowns.
