One more thing I will say about the super mini is that before with my large horn setup my cats would look right at the horn or woofer when they herd something they didn’t like but with the dipole super mini setup they walk all over the room looking behind the speakers trying to find the source of the sound and some times they act like they get mad and give up and just go into the other room. Cats and dog have a very good sense of space and phase and when something is wrong with your setup they won’t even stay in the same room.

Cats are so fickle, though. I don't trust 'em. Could be a deception...

Danny, have you tried mtm-ing the mini? Or, have you tried having the neo 10 above the 3 and on higher stands so the tweeter was at ear height? This may raise the sound stage to super 7 height.

Does anyone know if the neo 10 is using it’s natural roll off, or is that done by the cross over? Will driving the 10 without a bass roll off hurt the driver?

The Super 7 and Super Mini just run the Neo10 full out on the bottom.

The Neo 10 is still low passed, it is not run "wide open".
If you are worried about pushing it oo hard down low, high pass the amp with a small inline cap

Tyson is right in the fact that it is not rolled off on the low end (hgh pass) but it is lowpassed at the tweeter c/o point

All I was saying is that if you want to high pass it, just add small inline cap before the amplifier ( calculate for the input impedence of the amp)

Yep, the Neo10's top end is filtered to blend with the tweeter, but the low end is not filtered at all. Just rolls off naturally.

So what I am hearing is that the final analysis tool for any new speaker and speaker setup is a...

"Cat Scan"

I don't have a cat so can I hire one out from someone? There should be a Cat Scan service available at all the audio shows.

Sounds like a business opportunity! Of course, the discussions concerning what breed works best would ensue. Maine Coon or Persian? What is their feeding regimen. Poo outside or litter box? Alas, I'm taking myself out of the running...

Does anyone know why the mini baffle wings are used on the inside verses the outside? My natural placement would be on the outside to allow the sound to breath in the middle, unless the wing baffle is needed to separate the low mids. My guess is it’s for aesthetics, but has anyone compared both?
