The Mono blocks play very loud on my 1.6's without distortion.  I would ask Frank if they can handle a 2ohm impedance.

Note that the photo of the M225 show on greyhound's thread is obsolete.

The finished M225 amps have hidden front panel hardware (no screw heads showing) and look nicer.

They are out for good photos right now.  I will post them here as soon as I have them.

Price is $1699 each in pairs, $1899 for singles.

Two new reviews coming soon. One in Parttimeaudiophile and the other in Audiophilia.

We have new units ready to ship right now, zero lead time.

Working away building M225's.  I realized I had a SET400 and thought a picture of both would be nice. - Dan

Agreed!  Have always had a "thing" for small format gear that punches way above it's price point.

Thanks for the photo, Daniel.

Hello,

does anyone have experience with both avm 30 ma 30.3 and AVA M225 monoblocks?

On paper they seem similar, although I can only find measurements for AVM, I'm most interested in sound delivery, looking for soundstage and relaistic represantation of music

Speakers I need to drive are Midex - Audio Physic Loudspeakers

Appreciate your feedback based on experience, thank you
