Title: What power amps are you using with the Purist.

I am currently using a Cary 94L preamp with the Channel Islands D200 monoblocks, the cary sounds good but it's costing me a fortune in mullard 12AU7's, these are the only tubes I like as I find other 12AU7's too bright and toppy. I could do with a bit more detail and more bass definition and was wondering if the Purist would be a good match with the D200's. Thanks. I'm from the UK.

have you tried the groove tube mullard re-issue at $26 us  each?

Hi
I have tried the Purist with NuForce Reference 9 mono blocks and the combination has produced some of the greatest music, I believe the purist will also do wonders for the D200.
Thanx
