Michel Legrand, "Le Jazz Grand"

Mastered to CD by DCC (Steve Hoffman), the music is grand and the sound is superb! I doubt that  Phil Woods, Gerry Mulligan or Jon Faddis ever sounded better than on this disc. Oustanding!

Evening Dan ! Actually the changer is doing the spinning, am in the office doing some of that 'need it yesterday' stuff that goes with the business. It is nice to have good background tunes while working though. It's interesting I've found Monk way more accessible than I'd remembered back in the day. Straight No Chaser, along with pulling out the Monk's Blues LP prompted me to get the Real Gone Jazz set. Thanks for that tip (the SNC). Will probably have to check out more of Roland as well, he's another I remembered as being a little too free form for my tastes. But then as we age some memories get, shall we say, foggy.

Be Well
