http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIwSt2R54Xs  Enlarge your screen and turn UP the volume.  If you're too busy to watch the whole concert, use the slider to advance to 1:03:05 and meet enchantress Imogen Heap.  What a band this is as most of you already know.  I'm buyin the Blu-Ray cause my mates tell me the sound is superior to the any other available format.  Man o man, this is one concert I would have loved to attend.  Been to the club in the 80's I guess it was.  Hendrix would shit in his pants if he could see how far his fellow colleague from the day has advanced

Julia Hulsmann Trio : The End Of A Summer

Would you mind commenting on this recording? I recently discovered this trio, purchased "Imprint", and am interested in more. Thanks. Wonderful thread.

This box of four from the awesome Miles Davis Quintet, Essential Albums: Cookin', Relaxin', Workin', and Steamin', should keep me satisfied for the morning.
Quote
A marathon 1956 recording session-in which Miles' great quintet (with John Coltrane, Red Garland, Philly Joe Jones and Paul Chambers) went into the studio to document the brilliant musicianship, arrangements and chemistry they'd been bringing to the stage-resulted in four fantastic Prestige albums!

John Coltrane - A Love Supreme (Deluxe Edition, 2002 release).
Disc 1 is four original tracks, remastered. Disc 2 is same four tracks but recorded live at Antibes (France), plus some unecessary (IMO) tracks.
