I gotta gets me one of those.

It's pretty sweet Jim. I just got into them last fall thanks to someone else's post. I've got Friday Afternoon In The Universe as well, which is also very nice. Am surprised ( & not) that I'd never heard of them before. One of the many benefits of the AC gang, introduction to new & old music we'd forgotten or missed. Hope you've dodged all the stormy weather in your neck of the woods, and you've found a replacement tone arm. That's got to be a pisser. Have a safe 4th.  :thumb:

A Mint re-issue to go with a VG- copy I have already, though oddly - the reissue drops 2 songs off.

An original mono pressing to go with my 2 other vinyl pressings and SACD version Bill was nice enough to give me.

Miles Davis' Kind of Blue.  Bout 1959, I believe, and just in time for stereo.  Again and again, since.  Note perfect beauty.

Does Dexter Gordon look stoned enough on that cover above or what.  Heroin was big in his time and I guess he didn't care or didn't think anyone would see it.

 :thumb: on both points.

I'm just glad Dex kicked the 'horse', I like his playing too much to think it might have been cut short.

As for KoB, just gave a copy to 2 different co workers who like music but weren't sure how to approach jazz, if KoB doesn't capture their interest then nothing will.
