I watched "Bangkok Dangerous" starring Nicolas Cage last night.  The story is about a hitman hired to do his "last job" in Bangkok, Thailand.  The scenary of Bangkok was excellent as was the action in the movie.  Storyline was crap!  I watched the entire movie as did my wife so that alone is worth a minimum of 2 stars out of 5.

The trailer looked intensely stupid  :duh:

I won't be paying money to watch it, but a DVD rental of the 1999 "Bangkok Dangerous" featuring a mute, deaf assassin is going to be the way to go.

Nick Cage is one of the very best comedic actors. Unfortunately, he discovered that there is a LOT more $ in action flicks, no matter how mindless they are.  Hopefully, he may go back to what he does best- acting.

Last movie I saw that I liked him in was "Bringing Out the Dead".  Before that, "Raising Arizona".
