Any more info on that kit?

Sorry, every once in a while I have to drag out the sarcastic "Let Me Google That For You" link!  ;)

That's funny.

Okay so it is not battery powered. Pretty cool though. Maybe if it had a Hayabusa engine...

I'm sure you could buy an Alias Kit from ZAP.

I really would be interested in that.

They kind of remind me of a bird.

It does have quite a beak.  Lemme ask ZAP and see how it would work.  They might have to ship it from China.

Since the Volt drives on electric power all the time...

Very different than a Prius.  The transmission is coupled way different.   The Chevy Volt is full of original thought.

Ed,

Is there an electric motor kit for that as well?

No, not at this time. It uses the complete rear end from the Suzuki Burgman 400 scooter and bolts right in place.

It can get anywhere from 65-100 MPG depending how you drive it. Overall it just was a well thought out machine that should be very reliable, easy to maintain and be able to get it titled and licenced in any state. That is a big plus for me.

It looks like the perfect chassis to build an electric vehicle on.

Hey Danny,

If I stop by I'll drive my Carroll Shelby Mustang. The Mustang 1000. Maybe have a little drag race. Naw, it wouldn't be any fun to beat that Vette and don't want to tick you off. You've become my go to guy about many things audio related. :green: :P

Just busting your chops Danny but, there is a CS Mustang in my future. Still saving for it though.

That's okay, my latest set of mods is going to pick me up about 150 horsepower. So who knows...

Whats an Aerial Atom. Unless it means a 1000 hp and over 600 pounds/torque, I don't see how it would help. :nono: :) :)

Check out the Ariel Atom: http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=109095.0  I did.  :thumb:

And a stock Atom will run circles around any Mustang regardless of how much horsepower you want to throw at it.

Another Areil Atom thread! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Hmmmmmm.... wonder which'll get arond a track quicker: Vette, 'Stang, or Atom?

 :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Unless that track is an oval or a straight line, I think I know the answer.

Socal

Just between you and I , I know which one would win on an oval track such as Talledega or the track in Fointaine,CA. On a small oval it wouldn't be the CS mustang although it has apprx. $100k in the suspenion.
Remember this is to be kept quiet.

Anything that is zero to about 130, or any road coarse racing and the Ariel Atom is just unbelievable. And unbelievably fun. It is like a super fast go cart that is a street legal car.
