I have two CDs of organ music in Chartres and in the Basilica of St Denis. The acoustics are excellent despite the cavernous sizes.

Listening to the balloon pops to demonstrate the acoustics of the Mosque was incredible. It sounded like an explosion.

There's more to this than balloons popping.
It is just an example of the acoustic space they are trying to reproduce off site.
