Title: Amps and Surge Suppresors
Post by: gravy on 29 Mar 2004, 06:41 pm
Does Bryston recommend the use of surge suppressors to protect our investment in amps?

I read in the manuals that line regulators are not recommended for amps.

I am thinking about buying an ART 1800 watt surge suppressor or two to plug the amps into.

I appreciate your opinions!

I'm very interested in this unit for providing rack lighting as well as surge protection... am I to presume after reading James' post referenced above that this unti would not fit the bill, and may not provide the required current to my 4B SST or 6B SST?
