The time machine..., a Two-channel Audio System by markmaloof

Room Size

System Overview
Innersound speakers are pretty resolving, showing off how poorly a number of the records I listen to were made...but, hey, it's the music first. If I were to use audiophile terms to describe things, I would say "dimensional and open, very detailed without being fatiguing, dynamic, can play well at low to moderate volume levels, but can be cranked (though I'm much more into moderate levels.) My previous speakers (Quad 63 USA Monitors) had that open planar sound that I like. The Innersounds also have that boxless openess (electrostatic panel), but honest to goondess bass that the Quads never had. If you like only light chamber, folk or classical, you might prefer the Quads, but the Innersound can ROCK...but play nice subtle music too. And, like the Quads, no fatigue (though they do reveal bad recordings more so than the Quads.) The one thing the Quad 63 USA Monitors had over the Innersounds: they are much more amp friendly than the Innesound panels. Medium power tube amps and the Innersounds? Forgiddaboudit!
Music Preferences
I have a copy of Lou Reed's "Metal Machine Music". Does anyone need anymore?
