Would the use of Big Fat Dots under my audio stand be of any help? It is a 5 shelf holding about 200 lbs of gear.It sits on thin carper over concrete floor.
And on the tenderfeet with a heavy amp would i want to use soft on the lighter side and firm on the heavy side or is it a moot point? total wight is about 40lbs but the right side has the most weight.
Thanks for any help!!

Sure, Big Fat Dots make a great interface between audio stand and floor. They adapt best to bare floors, though a thin carpet is no problem. You might also consider Giant Fat Gliders. These provide the decoupling and isoltaion of Big Fat Dots with the added benefit of easier mobility whenever you might wish to move the rack a little.
Tenderfeet usually do best in matched sets of four. They are not very much weight-specific, having a broad range of capacity. An audio component usually has vibrational character that's a factor of the unit as a whole--not as a consequence of how much weight is distributed to each footer. At forty pounds, amplifiers tend to favor being on Extra-Firm Tenderfeet (a CD player of the same weight usually favors TenderSoft Tenderfeet, though both will do very well with either the firm or soft Tenderfeet.

I have a copper SET amp that weighs about 120 pounds, and it has 4 cone like feet. What kind of isolation feet would be best for this amp?

Hi, jostber. You might consider a Fat Grounding Base under each of the cone-like feet, unless the feet are rubber; then, you would want to bypass or remove the feet and use something else instead.
Extra-Firm Tenderfeet and Iso-Cups w/SuperSonic Hardballs both would do very well, though I'd favor giving the Isocups a try. It's impossible to predict which would be best, because of personal preferences and system variables.

Thanks! The feet are made of wood, so the Iso-Cups might be the best choice.

Iso-Cups are likely the best choice, though Fat Grounding Bases would do very well under wooden cone-like feet.

I could not find a product called Fat Grounding Base on the web site. Which is it?
