A few days ago, I auditioned Yamamoto A-08, which employs 45 tubes with 2 watt output per channel. This amp. gives me very good impression in sound reproduction.

Will it be power enough to drive my new Grande 6R?

Does anyone have experience in using this amp. with Grande 6R or other Omega models or other single-drive speakers?   :D

Hi Michael,

I have used a Korneff with the Grande 6s and they sounded amazing. It's also very borderline in terms of volume.

Thansk again,
Louis

Louis,

Thanks but Korneff is not available in Hong Kong.  I'm not sure whether there is a 220v version produced by Korneff.  :nono:

Speakers except electrostatic type unlike amplifiers and other electronic components which are free from voltage issue and can be used in everywhere.

Hence, a number of well-praised components can only been seen on magazines and computer screens but can't be auditioned.  :(

Hi Michael,

The Korneff is probably just 110 volts. He may biuld you a custom amp in 220Volts.

I really liked what I heard and the price is pretty good too.

Thanks again,
Louis
