North Texas in-home auditions

If you are willing to allow fellow AC members into your home to audition your system, please add a post to this thread that contains your city of residence and a description of your system.  Any information beyond that should probably be exchanged via PM or some other private means.

Hopefully, this will give people a chance to audition systems or components that they might otherwise not find at a local dealer.  Thanks in advance to all posters for displaying such openness and generosity!

Dallas (downtown)...see below for my system information.  Ambience Superslim 1800 are ribbon hybrid speakers made in Australia.  They are rare here in the good ol' USA.

First, let me thank Marvin for pointing out this forum!

My home is open for meets and hangouts for audiophiles. Speaker, amp, preamp etc. shootouts as well. I currently have two setups in place, a few more in the plans. Modest, I know, compared to some of the equipment listed in the thread but you can hear music coming out... :)

Location Bedford, TX.

Living room 2.1 channel consists of:

Dalhquist DQ-10 speakers
Aragon 2004 amplifier
DIY 15" Atlas subwoofer, 5cu.ft. sealed box, 240W Dayton plate amp
HK3370 stereo receiver as a temporary preamp solution
Toshiba HD-XA1 HD-DVD player
Luxman D-100 CD player
Samsung HL-R6168W 1080p DLP

Home Theatre isn't completely setup yet but watchable atm:

Polk LSi15 mains
Polk LSi7 centre + surrounds
SVS PCU subwoofer
HK AVR7200 receiver, demoted to prepro-only duty
B&K AVP5000 5ch amplifier
Rotel BR-890 2ch amplifier
Toshiba HD-A1 HD-DVD player
InFocus SP5000 720p LCD projector (not happy at all with this, going back to CRT FP or getting Sony Pearl)

Well, I have gone thru a major re-organization and created a full-blown home theater. My fiance & I converted an upstairs rec room into our theater. Added walls, insulation, sound-treatments, custom stage, drapes, valences, new carpet and lighting! The system itself has remained stable, although I did have to do a few  upgrades! We have added a Panasonic PT-AE900U HD projector, 106" 16:9 motorized Mustang screen, SVS PB-12 Sub, and the new Directv HR-20 HD DVR  :deadhorse: .. nothing beats TIVO... If anyone would like a viewing, it is enjoyable to allow others to come in and absorb all the hard work we put into it, and even get some feedback for future improvements. Just drop me a line thru this posting and we'll go from there! Photos available upon request!
