Yesterday I had a wonderfull demo with a super sounded tube-preamp on my Reference's 9 blocks.
The tube-preamp is a reseach of about 5 years from Ed de Jong, a well known tube-person here in the Netherlands. (

The other sources: A CEC TL51 belt drive CD transport and a AudioNote Dac3 tube DAC, completely rebuilt with o.a. a special power supply, self made silvercaps (better than AudioNote), silver internal wiring, etc, etc
Result? The whole night I can't sleep! I never heard such a beautiful sound with power, transparancy, precision en dynamics! You can shake your hands with the violist, the singer and so on!
For I can remember, its a better tube-preamp the the AudioNote M7!
I can't wait for the definitive preamp arrives at my house!
