this my first post and please forgive my English from now on.

I'm the proud owner of a pair of Dynaudio Contour 1.4S hooked to a Moon I3.

I'm currently considering buying Nuforce blocks.

Which one should I buy : Ref8 or Ref9?

If you have the budget then you will be happier with the larger amplifiers. Since the amplifier modules are identical and so will sound much the same. I say much since the bigger amp will swing more volts and supply more current. The larger amp will sound more open effortless and dynamic than the same amp with a smaller supply. So the choice is yours. I would if funds are available opt for the modle 9's. Best regards Moray James.

At 85db sensitivity, unless you listen at low levels and nearfeild, you would likely need the Ref9's.
