Title: "Submerged" by Bob McNeice
Post by: BobM on 3 Jun 2020, 07:55 pm
I composed an ambient piece but then it needed a story line to give it life. I found some stock photo's and put together a video. Please let me know if you like the story.

I like the music!  All 3 movements are great. Harmonies pushing the limit of "Berklee Rules of Arranging" in the 1st movement, but it made me smile as I love when composers break the rules. Rhythms great in 1st. 2nd and 3rd nice melodies and grooves.
Massive accomplishment, Bob! The rhythms and harmoies in the 1st show you are a skilled composer! And the 2nd and 3rd show you can make music for the peeps too.

Great song Bob, a exciting mix of rhythm and melody as the best years of TD.
We need composers.

I just downloaded the Spitfire BBC orchestra VST and decided to play with it during a rainy day here in Florida, hence the name "And in the Summer it Rained". But I put it in Latin, because this is a classical piece after all.  :duh:
(Notice toward the end when the sun comes out for a brief respite.)

Great music Bob, Thanks for the links. Loved Submerged. As FRM notes, up there with Tangerine Dream.  Keep creating.  :thumb:

I got a new one I put up yesterday, influenced by current events. I call it the March. There's also plenty more if you want to explore my stuff. Just look under my profile. A wide variety of styles too, so if you don't like one ... keep looking for another.
