Praised are low level detail. Quoting about the 2nd iteration. "Zwickel's sound philosophy is bloody intoxicating. If you like subtle, gorgeous sauces in a plain old meat and two veg world, you need to audition this DAC."

$ 575 or offer. This DAC, as I understand it, is the same circuit as the Mystique 3  ($5k) which was just reviewed in the Absolute Sound, but the 3 has better parts quality and a vastly improved powersupply section.
