Is there an audio club in Queensland?

Hi fellow audiophiles,

I would like to know if anyone knows of any audio clubs in Queensland. To the best of my knowledge there isn't one. If someone want to form a club, I would certainly be interested.

I visited Northside HiFi the other day after getting some solder at Jaycar, just down the road. The salesperson told me many high end systems were walking out the door each week. If true, this would indicate that there would be a reasonable base of people who have a high level of interest in high end audio.

Yes, the two clubs are well known and do great stuff!

I was hoping to touch base with some like minded individuals here in Queensland. We could even form an AKSA building club!

Oh well, Queenslanders are a er........unique mob, trust me on this, I am one.

If you want to start a qld hi fi club let me know I am there mate .

I might not have the brain power of some of the others here . but I do love a good hi fi .
I like to make my own speakers so they is some I should be able to help & learn form as well

of course we are unique we live in god's country

I would be interested in a club as well. Unless it was close to where I live at Redland Bay could not make it to many meeting due to my arthritiis and lack of a car. But would be happy to have people over to listen to my system once it is set up.
