Hi Doc,
I noticed that your modular pre-amp power supplies use a regulator in the tube heater supply while your Magic5 and Ear amps don't. What are your design reasons for this difference? Are regulators really that effective at reducing ripple or are they sort of icing on an otherwise-well-designed-power-supply-cake?
