Bryston remote mute does not hold

Hello.

I own a Bryston B135-3 / BCD / Mini A. They were purchased shortly before the sad passing of Brian Russell.

The Bryston Support Forum does not appear to be very active, so my apologies if this is not the correct forum to post this note.

I am unable to mute the B135 for long using the Bryston remote. It can disengage within seconds or minutes or sometimes it simply carries on without a problem (it varies without rhyme or reason). I took various troubleshooting steps - shutting down all other electronic devices, resetting the remote, switching off and cooling down the B135, and checking at different times of the day. To no avail.  The unit is in a visually shielded spot and the closest building in direct line of sight is over 100 metres away. My building is concrete and steal, so I doubt it is being affected by other electronics.

Has anyone any thoughts as to the cause of this problem?
