Title: VDA-2 with a Denon 3910?

I just bought a VDA-2 . I will use it primarily for my Squeezbox 3. I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to use it with my Denon 3910 universal player for redbook playback? Yes, I will obviously try it with and without but would love to hear from anybody who has either tried this combo, and/or from folks who have a "theoretical" opinion.
