Good Sunday morning to all members and friends of TAAS.
Happy Mother's Day.
It is with great pleasure that I announce our next meeting:
Sunday June 3.
Please read on about some exciting developments -

Guest Speaker
I have invited Song Kim, the founder and owner of Song Audio to be our guest speaker.
Please visit his website at www.songaudio.com to familiarize yourselves with Song's products.
Also, please make sure that you click on the review written by Paul Candy. The review not
only details one of Song's amps but also gives you an insight about Song's philosophy on audio
and some history of his fascinating life journey.
Song has graciously offered to bring his entire Audio system to the event, which should be a
real treat!

TAAS has a new home!!!
I am very please to announce that we have a home for our group.
Thornhill Presbyterian Church
271 Centre Street in Thornhill
Main intersections:
Centre Street is situated between Yonge and Bathurst (East-West) and Steeles and Hwy 407 (North-South). Centre Street is located in a beautiful part of Thornhill and is directly across the street from a famous landmark - The Thornhill Duck Pond.
There is ample free parking.
Our events will be held in one of the Church's Chapel. This chapel is a perfect size for our needs.
Please bring along your favourite CD and, if time permits, we will play a cut on Song's system.
Bringing Prayer Books is not necessary.

Please use Mapquest to get specific directions.

New Starting Time!!
Please note - this event and all future events will have the following hours:
3:00pm until 6:30pm
This new time is more convenient as it will allow all members to have lunch and dinner with family, significant other, or pet.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our founding member Daygloworange (Denny) for hosting all of our prior events. Denny put in a lot of time and great effort to make sure that we had a place to meet.
Without his generosity we would not have been able to get off the ground.

Guys,

I just spoke to Spirit this morning, and we've already had 9 or 10 new members sign up and RSVP for the June 3rd together at our new location.

Be sure to RSVP Spirit and reserve a seat. Don't miss out!

Also, Spirit and DonnieW will be making available ( for a buck or two), copies of a great demo CD that Lonewolfny sent to Spirit. This will be a great baseline for members to have, so that they can have a benchmark recording to reference to at our get togethers.

Thank you Denny....that was the purpose of the Cd...as a reference for all.
I was at the Stereophile HE 2007 show on Saturday, and spoke with the head rep for Usher. He told me he really enjoyed the Rave Cd I had given him at RMAF '06, and had made copies for many reviewers....and they all liked it...good !!

I can't take all the credit....it was a NYAR group effort on picking the selections. I was happy to put it all together....so enjoy, and have a good meeting !!!

Hey y'all!
We already have 13 people who have RSVPd!
And we haven't even sent out out announcement to our email list.
That should be happying tonight.
Dayglowornage is correct - Donnie and I are hoping to make available for
a Toonie, the New York Rave CD Compilation.
This CD has some awesome tracks that will really test your system.
I took this CD with me to the Montreal show last month and was asked by
many showgoers to make them a copy.
We are trying hard to build up a regular group of members for TAAS.

Regrefully I was unable to attend
