Fake news?
I just checked Stereophile and the latest speaker review (B&W) had all the measurements, as usual.
Bit of an overreaction methinks.

It wasn't possible for Larry Greenhill, who now lives in California, to ship this amplifier to New York in time for me to measure it.

Maty, I have all of those things.  Except low sensitivity speakers.  I have high sensitivity speakers (97db w/flat 8ohm impedance).

I think we're in agreement here.  The only place we differ is with regard to class D ultimate quality as of today.  DAC and their Maraschino amps are the primary reason I think class D has a future in high end audio.  Before I heard them I dismissed class D based on it all sounding a bit airless and sterile.  DAC made me reconsider that opinion.  Will others be able to replicate their success?  Maybe.  I hope so.  I hope it continues to improve by leaps and bounds.  But I've been in this game long enough to be skeptical of "game changers".  I'll believe it when I personally experience it.  That hasn't happened so far....

   Yes it has. Depends on which class "D" amp. A hybrid class "D" using a Reflector 6H30 input tube transformer coupled Duelund CAST output cap and military grade [ submarine ] power supply with 500W/8 Ohm and 1000W /4 Ohm. You know that power supply is quite.  No Hypex module or OEM modules. Made to spec for amp.
Arion HS 500 is the amp described. To date all other offering I have heard do not have the harmonic structure and tonality of this Amp. If you have Planars or low efficient speakers well worth an audition. Sold direct. Great specs as well. I own them.

* SNR at 1 Watt/8 Ohms "A weighted" ?

* Harmonic profile? H2 or H3 predominant? Without harmonics?

* Graphs, measures?

Posts ago, Tyson mentioned the negative feedback in traditional amps (class A and class AB).

Today, Hugh Dean (AKSA) write about it and the phase.

I think it is very instructive.

Talking about negative feedback, you should look up David Berning. He has dealt with this issue for almost 50 years.

Like Hugh Dean or Nelson Pass.

What amps did Hugh Dean build the last 50 years?

You paid €4000 for this:  :duh:

Bowers & Wilkins loudspeakers tend to have somewhat idiosyncratic measured behavior, and the 702 S2 is no exception. But with careful setup and choice of ancillary components, it can produce very satisfying sound, as KR found.—John Atkinson

Seriously?  Maybe you should have dug a little deeper, or done some research instead of jumping the shark by exclaiming to the world what shills Stereophile is. Fake news!

How about a public apology? Then the moderator can close the thread.

maty

There was a basis for doubt because it was strange that with the new month a new article in Review there were no graphs/measures and that this coincided with the change in ownership.

For me the admin can close the thread, now that fortunately I was wrong.

Yeah, that's not an apology.

You could have simply asked "Hey, has Stereophile stopped publishing measurements? I noticed this amp doesn't have any."  But no, you attacked them on the internet instead without any forethought or self control.  Try again.

David Berniing was the first that I knew that brought out a switchable feedback amp. Made by Fosgate, it was the Audionics of Oregon BA-150 in 1978. If any others are out there before that, please let me know.
